The Blood did what I couldn’t do

One of the flaws of the human nature is to love who loves you, and to discount and begrudge who offends you…..I was offended by the hurts and mistreatment of a so called friend. Months have gone by and I could not understand why there was no contact to rectify the situation… Then one morning the Lord said to me, “you need to forgive and totally release that person from the “hold” you have of them….declare them totally forgiven, released from any ill thoughts, free, offense erased and eradicated.”

As I examined myself and knowing that God sees into the heart, I wandered if i could truly and totally do it. Then i realized that the Blood of Jesus was shed for just such a thing……to do what I couldn’t do…..take the ill will, take the “hold” out of my heart for that person and purely forgive them. The Blood came to do what i can’t do. It purges the deepest, darkest, hidden manifestations of the heart. The Blood can do it. It is the cure and the medicine for every known ailment of mankind. The Blood is the purifier of mankind. Thank you Lord for the Blood.

Today, by the power of the Blood, I am able to forgive and release my hold on my friend. They are free of my upset and now…..I am free….by the Blood.
